Im a teen guy, 17, and I really like this 15 year old girl at the theater im in... shes so beautiful and is a really great person overall... the problem is her parents are really overprotective and wont even let her go out, let alone get a boyfriend or anything... Ive actually never had a girlfriend myself but i would like to ask her out... but i dont get the feeling she's into me at all... she teases that im too short and doesnt take me too seriously for some reason (Im 5'9 thats not that short is it? but shes 5'8) Anyway what should I do? Id appreciated honest, thoughtful adviceGirl advice for teen guy?

omg thats so cute. im 17 to and havent really had a boyfriend either but i reackon you sholud just go for it. my parents are over protective. i dont know about her lying to her parents and all but if you actually talk to her about going out on a date and she says yes then i reckon you could try talking to her parents to reconsider.
5'9'; is a perfect height don't worry about that. Well I think that you should ask her out. Even if she does turn you down you will be ready for the next one. There are a million girls out there. She could also be making fun of you because she secretly likes you.
it sounds like you really like this girl. Talk to her about how you feel. Alone, dont ask/talk to her about it in front of her friends or your friends. And she probably makes fun of you because she likes you too. :)
